Wow. You waited all of sixteen minutes for this? :D Okay, here goes.

Dearest Blog,

So back then... Gosh, what was I even going to say? Oh yeah, I saw the one-acts with Kyle and Lynn (Kyle's mom) at my school. They were really good. But maybe not even as funny as Kyle and Lynn were afterwards, when all three of us cajoled my mom in to letting us go out to eat. That was fun. We just had lots of fun at Applebees. And I may have told you that Kyle and I agreed to trade skizzles: Hapkido for Snowboarding. Not a bad deal, huh? I just woner if it's ever going to happen. But anyway, there's new news.

Awesome party on Saturday night at the McGinley's (spelling?) Scottish ("Robert Burns") night. Fun, fun. Talked about it on the other thread. More theater drama. Funny how the addicting stuff never leaves you, even when you're not in it. But today, I may be auditioning for my school's Guys and Dolls. It's funny that I'd be setteling for a school production. I've always hated them. Maybe I've just never given them a fair chance. I'm already a Techie for this production, however. That'll be fun regardless. So maybe I'll be a "Tactor", or so I've heard them called. My mom won't let me do Metro (because she hates me and loves drama) so I'll be setteling for a lesser drug, local (very. local.) theater. Sort of like going from heroine to pot. But not even pot... More like brownies with the lightest imaginable sprinkling of hash. Just *barely* enough theater to keep me going. Oh well.

Still working, my job's going well so far. In smaller news, I got a black hoodie that I'd been dying to (well, not that specific one, but just one in general) get. Yay. Now I have something to match ... Pretty **** near anything that I wear. That's good.

Lastly, I started a sharred journal with Carter a while back. He's quit. That's what I get for trusting *him* again, isn't it? But I do intend to post those entries as soon as I get the willpower to transcribe them.

Dearest Blog,

I have great and wonderful new news! ITS SO EFFING AMAZING! Sorry, I'm hysterically enthused. I got a solo in choir! Not impressed? I wouldn't be either, "getting a solo" isn't such an impressive feat on its own, but I got a REALLY hard-to-get solo. Concert choir and symphonic men's choir. I'm in the lesser, "symphon". I've attended every 0-period choir rehersal (a special this-week-only thing) and went in on my tutorial period. And I'm going in early to help set up tomorrow. Anyway, there are five solos in "A-punk" (a song worth looking into, I might add)- they were all supposed to go to the way, overly talented concert choir, but I managed to somehow snag one. I must say that I'm still somehow suprised. I had to tell everyone. And to add to that, I just read the comments I got on my first semester report card from him. I got something to the effect of "he's got a lot of talent". It's great to be recognized.

Also, I have callbacks today for Guys and Dolls. I think this is a good thing. I've been doing my best to nail every audition thus far. Dance auditions were yesterday. I'm actually getting a lot of recognition from seniors and juniors. I'm everybody's "freshman" now. So the tech crew loves me, the actors love me, and the concert choir loves me. I don't think this could be bad, right? Yeah, so I'm not going to work today untill later. I'm so super pumped to have gotten this far in the auditions. It's sort of an on-top-of-the-world feeling. And what I said earlier about highschool theater being hash compared to heroine? I was misinformed. To say the least. I'm sincerely impressed by this theater group, the director- just everything. And now, getting to see the basics of the tech aspect, it's cool to get a sense of how it all fits together... And how much less godly actors are than I once thought they were :) .

Moreover, there are some super-(and-)significant things happening in my social life. And some cool drama going on. Fun, fun, fun as always.

1/28/2010: Half past, but still half 'till-- In a rather rainy state on *wes' si-ede*
Dearest Blog,

More good news. Men's Fest(ival) was today from first to third period. All of the guys in the school district who are guys and in choir were there. The middle-schoolers couldn't hold a pitch to save their lives- so impressing them wasn't a difficult feat. Moreover, we were amazing. Let me just throw that out their right now- we're awesome. I did as good of a job as I could have expected to do on my solo -- "I saw Johanna, down in the subway, she took an apartment in Washington Heights. Half of the ring lies here with me, cuz' the other half's at the bottom of the sea" in A-punk (by Vampire Weekend). So, yeah, we were good.

Also, I find out the actors in the final cast list today at the end of school. I'm nervous. I'm a freshman, so if I get something other than a role in the ensemble, what a coup. But the ensemble is cool too. And then later, I'll be hanging out with Kyle and ... "Kyle's Mom" (sorry, couldn't resist) and seeing some sort of school play somewhere. I believe that Kyle is in it- though I'm not sure. Wish me luck! Actually- no! Don't wish me luck! Wish that I break a leg!

Lots of Love,
Teddums

Dearest Blog,

So, yeah- it turns out that I have actual lines in the school production: "Guys and Dolls". How awesome. Two pages of lines, actually. But I'm dreading Thursday- EVERYTHING happens on thursday. More on that later, though.

Case-in-point. Everything is happenening, and it's hard to breathe when I think about it.

Wow. Okay, so in Taekwondo last week, I did this pre class speech to the adult class- part flight attendant, part movie theater. It went something like this.

Interestingly, I think they actually liked my stand-up comedy... Perhaps they want more...

It wasn't nearly as good, and I was killing time before the teen class started, because not everyone was ready yet.

And plus, the quote I used was infinitely cooler. And I'm sure Annie and Rissa would agree.
